Our school is a combined unit of a kindergarten and a primary school with phase-out middle school classes. It consists of two buildings: A (where the kindergarten and the early education classes are located) and B (which houses phase-out middle school classes and higher classes of primary school). Our students ages vary from 3 to 16 years old. In our school we have got 60 teachers. The school is constantly growing and evolving by participating in many ongoing projects and competitions which a lot of students take part in. The projects help them recognise their potential and realise their passions. However, out of a total of 630 students,a staggering number of 220 are diagnosed with various learning disabilities and behavioural disorders. Dysgraphia, dyslexia, selective mutism, and dyscalculia are just a few examples. Based on the school documentation of the School and Pre-School Complex in Szemud, i.e. the analysis of the results of the mock exams in the 2017/2018 school year in the third grade of middle school stated that students with dyslexia achieved weaker results in the exams. We would like to work with our partners to exchange experience, inspire each other, but most importantly to suport SEN students with learning difficulities.
